This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold food items while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and safety. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with solid knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
  • Proficiency in preparing a wide range of dishes, including using kitchen tools and appliances like grills, fryers, slicers, and ovens.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to consistently produce high-quality, well-prepared, and beautifully presented dishes.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently, especially during busy periods, while ensuring all food is prepared on time and to the required standards.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry heavy items, and work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Must have open availability. This is a PM position with shifts starting between 2:30pm and 4pm. Flexibility is required based on business needs, including potential overtime, holiday and weekend shifts.
  • Total hours based on business levels.
