  • Proactively solicit and secure events and meeting space business to achieve revenue goals.
  • Promote and sell meeting space for SeaTac hotels programs to maximize facility utilization.
  • Respond to event inquiries in a timely manner and convert leads to confirmed bookings.
  • Conduct site tours and walkthroughs with prospective clients.
  • Prepare and present event proposals, contracts, and agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, organizations, and community partners to generate repeat business.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
  • Maintain consistent communication to ensure event requirements and expectations are clearly understood.
  • Provide professional and responsive service when addressing client requests or changes.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up to ensure satisfaction and support future business opportunities.
  • Coordinate event logistics with internal departments to ensure smooth execution.
  • Prepare and distribute event documentation outlining all event details and requirements.
  • Communicate event timelines and operational needs with relevant teams.
  • Provide on-site event support when necessary to ensure successful execution.
  • Prepare and manage company invoices and event billing to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Track and manage R&I reporting related to event revenue.
  • Coordinate and process payroll gratuities associated with events.
  • Monitor event revenue and ensure accurate financial documentation.
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, billing documents, and event details.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in catering sales, event planning, or hotel sales
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and hospitality or property management systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
