Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri.

Responsibilities

→Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
→Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
→Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs
→Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
→Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies
→Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related technical/business discipline.
More than 5 years of related work experience in supplier management, procurement, supplier quality, or manufacturing operations.
More than 5 years knowledge using FAR/DFARS clauses, ITAR regulations, and aerospace/defense manufacturing compliance standards.
More than 5 years of experience utilizing enterprise ERP software (such as SAP) and advanced business intelligence platforms to drive supply network decisions.
More than 5 years of negotiations, executive conflict resolution, and complex enterprise project management skills.

Current, active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance or higher.
Master’s degree or advanced professional certifications in supply chain or quality (e.g., APICS CSCP, ASQ Certified Supplier Quality Engineer, PMP).
More than 5 years of experience using Lean, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints methodologies in a heavy aerospace manufacturing environment.
More than 5 years of strong technical aptitude with cutting-edge aerospace systems, advanced electronics, specialized composite machining, or complex defense weapon platforms.

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
