Hiring Manager: Patrick Kevin Callanan Recruiter: Aislinn Roche # ABOUT THE ROLE The position of Regional Sales Manager is to drive business growth through the execution of corporate, regional and local sales strategies, in securing product positioning and market penetration. The Regional Sales Manager works closely with their team to capture and broaden market share, aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning. A core focus of the Regional Sales Manager is building and developing a high-performing team – leading, coaching and developing the sales team to achieve sales targets and optimal patient outcomes This role is based in Auckland and reports directly to the Business Unit Director, Interventional Cardiology & Structural Heart, ANZ. It requires regular travel within New Zealand and some international travel to Australia (and occasionally other regions) to support business priorities and stakeholder engagement. As a key member of the ANZ Interventional Cardiology Leadership team, this role contributes to the development and execution of regional strategy, playing a critical part in shaping business planning, driving performance outcomes, and supporting the ongoing growth and capability of the broader ANZ organisation. # KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * People and Leadership Development: Responsible for developing and supporting leaders and members of a high performing team; facilitating a positive winning spirit and collaborative culture. Spends time in the field with team members and proactively coaches where required by providing constructive feedback; ensures team receive ongoing regular feedback, training and help in identifying, supporting and achieving agreed development objectives. * Business Development: Monitors sales performance, initiating change as required, preparing reports and analysis; integrates territory plans and account profiles into a broader regional plan and coaches sales team accordingly, prepares sales forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential; spends time with team members to ensure effective territory management and account targeting. * Building and Maintaining Relationships: Builds and maintains strong relationships and understanding of the customer; maintains contact with major accounts and key relationships seeking to identify and leverage opportunities; supports key customers with education forums; attend and participate in customer, company and industry sponsored events and meetings; develops and maintains relationships with functional areas. * Sales Execution: Conducts regular sales reviews with team and Business Unit Leader; adjusts strategies in accordance with requirements; identifies sales forecast gaps and submits remedial strategies; identifies & recommends promotion programs and materials to help support the sales plan & strategy; actively supports divisional selling initiatives by proactively assisting in training and influencing their team. * Clinical Excellence: Maintains an understanding of the product portfolio and can differentiate each product line against competitor products. Develops and maintains a depth of relevant clinical knowledge through published literature, conference addresses, formal training and local clinical expertise.
