To drive sales growth by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored product solutions to meet client needs. The role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and quoting to order coordination and after-sales support—while collaborating with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery and achievement of sales targets.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Process and manage orders from quotation to dispatch, ensuring they are accurate.
  • Identify and prospect for new clients and sales opportunities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support, both in person and via email/phone
  • Contact customers to understand their needs and discuss product solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams
  • Identifying and assessing clients’ needs to ensure solutions align with their business objectives.
  • Generate revenue by meeting sales targets
  • Managing existing customer relationships
  • Developing new business opportunities
  • Preparing quotes, manage order and routes
  • Liaise with management on technical and sales-related issues
  • Manage inventory and material requirements
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues, referring them to the appropriate departments
  • Track and report sales performance using systems like a BRMS
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the different types of steel and their applications
