Outside Sales Representative in Training Kamas/Heber, Utah   Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated, coachable, and driven Outside Sales Representative in Training (SIT) to join our team. This entry-level sales development role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the fundamentals of outside sales, build strong customer relationships, and grow into a successful territory sales professional. Through structured training, hands-on experience, and ongoing mentorship, the SIT will develop the skills needed to generate leads, close sales, and manage customer accounts. This role provides a clear career path into a full-time Outside Sales Representative position.   Key Responsibilities   Training & Development Participate in a structured training program focused on products, systems, and sales processes Learn company operations, customer service standards, and internal workflows Shadow experienced sales representatives to gain real-world experience Sales Support (Year 1 Focus) Assist with preparing bids, quotes, and proposals Process customer orders and ensure accuracy and timeliness Support account management activities and customer follow-up Develop proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and product offerings Customer Engagement Build strong relationships with customers through responsiveness and communication Observe and assist in customer visits, job site interactions, and sales calls Provide exceptional service to support customer retention and growth Transition to Outside Sales Gradually take on responsibility for managing accounts and a sales territory Identify and pursue new business opportunities Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals   Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus 0 - 2 years related industry operations / sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong desire to build a career in outside sales Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and competitive mindset Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/ERP systems is a plus Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
