2nd Cook - Artemis Blackwater Mine

ATCO Frontec is seeking a 2^nd Cook to join our Camp Services team at Artemis Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia, approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver.. The 2^nd Cook is responsible for preparing a wide variety of foods and meals, made and served to the highest standard possible. They are responsible for inspecting food and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. 

The rate for this position is $27.61 an hour. 

• →Ensure meals are prepared and severed to the highest standard  

• →Support kitchen operations in a professional manner  

• →Knowledgeable in safety while operating the required equipment 

• →Inspect food and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis  

• →Leave your workplace in a clean and tidy manner  

• →Other duties as assigned by management from time to time  

• Completion of a college or other post-secondary program in cooking  

• The successful candidate must hold a valid food safety certificate  

• 2-3 years’ experience as 2nd cook in the hotel/restaurant industry
