Lead Cook

Looking for a part-time opportunity where you can take on a leadership role and make a difference each day?

The Lead Cook is an important part of the daily kitchen operation. You'll help prepare meals, maintain an organized kitchen, and provide leadership and direction to inmates working in the kitchen.

• →Lead, direct, and assist inmates within the kitchen
• →Lead and assist with daily meal preparation
• →Prepare food and assist with baking and cooking
• →Help with kitchen clean-up
• →Read and follow company recipes
• →Instruct and assist with kitchen tasks
• →Help maintain a clean and productive work environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment
• Ability to read and follow company recipes
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Flexibility to work varying days and hours between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Ability to obtain clearance approval to enter the facility
