Lead Cook

Looking for a part-time opportunity where you can use your cooking skills while taking on a leadership role?

As a Lead Cook, you'll help keep the kitchen running smoothly while assisting with meal preparation and overseeing inmates working in the kitchen.

• →Preparing and serving meals according to company recipes and standards
• →Assisting with food preparation, baking, and cooking while overseeing inmates
• →Leading and supporting kitchen operations during assigned shifts
• →Training, instructing, and assisting team members as needed
• →Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen
• →Following facility requirements and food safety procedures
• →Helping ensure daily kitchen operations are completed efficiently

To be successful in this position, you'll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work effectively in a structured correctional environment
• Ability to read and follow recipes and production guidelines
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
• Flexibility to work varying days and hours between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Ability to obtain facility clearance and approval
