This role has an OTE of $120,000+. Current Senior Account Executives at CardFlight have a proven track record of exceeding their targets.

We’re currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Inside Sales Team and contribute to the growth of our SwipeSimple Connect product. The ideal candidate for this position will be on the front lines helping local business owners streamline payments, boost revenue, and modernize their customer experience with our cutting-edge CRM and payment processing solution. You’ll turn everyday transactions into lasting relationships—understanding the needs of small businesses and presenting passionate business owners with our software's value.

📍Location: Greater Los Angeles, CA area. This position is primarily remote, but you will be expected to work in person alongside your manager and colleagues in Chicago, IL up to 3 times per year on dates determined by the company.

The ideal candidate will have strong outbound sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close deals in a fast-paced environment. Experience selling to small-to-medium size businesses (SMBs), payments industry knowledge, or selling SaaS solutions is highly preferred. You will report to the Head of Inside Sales.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position and employment is contingent upon a successful background check. Upon hire, you’ll participate in an in-person onboarding during your first week and receive a set schedule based on business needs. We provide a clear path for advancement, including a structured 3-month ramp-up plan, and offer company equity to reward your success and align your growth with ours.

  • Pipeline Development & Outreach: Drive new business through a combination of inbound lead follow-up and proactive outbound outreach including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and digital channels. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective customers by understanding their business challenges and identifying opportunities where SwipeSimple Connect can improve operations, payments, and customer engagement.
  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling and consultative product demonstrations that clearly communicate the value and impact of our CRM and payment processing platform.
  • Full-Cycle Sales Management: Own the entire sales process from qualification through closing, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience. Effectively manage multiple opportunities at various stages of the sales cycle.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with prospective customers and key stakeholders, positioning yourself as a long-term partner to their business success.
  • Sales Performance & Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline, and opportunities in CRM systems. Provide reliable forecasting and sales reporting to leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, partnerships, and product teams to align messaging, share customer insights, and improve go-to-market strategies.
  • Market & Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the payments ecosystem to effectively position our solutions.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.

Experience

  • 3–5+ years of sales experience, preferably in SMB SaaS, fintech, or payments.
  • Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle and consistently exceeding sales targets.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Experience selling software, payment processing, or other services to SMBs.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and modern sales tools.
  • Strong organizational and pipeline management skills.
