Pet Care & Daycare Attendant

• You’ll have a predictable schedule: 36 hours a week with rotating weekends, so you’re not working every Saturday and Sunday.
• You’ll spend all day with animals. Play, enrichment, and plenty of tail wags come with the job.

• Provide compassionate, attentive care to boarding and daycare pets
• Prepare meals and follow feeding instructions for each pet
• Administer medications as directed
• Offer exercise, play, and enrichment to keep pets happy and engaged
• Supervise dogs during daycare play groups, keeping play safe and fun
• Clean, sanitize, and prepare kennel spaces
• Communicate pet needs, behavior, and concerns to teammates and supervisors

• 1+ year of animal handling and care experience
• Comfort handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
• Strong communication and organization skills
• A team-player attitude that builds trust with staff and supervisors
• The ability to stay calm and adaptable in a busy, noisy, high-energy environment
• Availability for rotating weekends
• The ability to stand and move for extended periods, and to lift and restrain animals of varying sizes
