SAP Architect

SAP Solution Architect is required by a global company to join their global technology team delivering a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme and be responsible shaping and governing enterprise architecture and functional across SAP ecosystems, ensuring solutions are aligned with business strategy, integration principles, and long-term digital transformation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Translating business requirements into SAP enterprise and functional architecture and solution design.
• Designing and optimising end-to-end business processes, ensuring alignment between functional and technical solutions.
• Defining and maintaining target-state enterprise architecture across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, and other systems.
• Establishing and enforcing architectural governance, standards, and review processes across programmes and domains.
• Leading integration architecture design, including API strategies and integration patterns.
• Ensuring seamless integration across SAP and non-SAP systems within on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Reviewing and validating solution designs delivered by internal teams and external service providers to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Acting as a key interface between business stakeholders, IT leadership, and vendors, supporting requirements analysis and solution alignment.

Required experience and skills:

• Extensive experience as an SAP Solution/Enterprise Architect on large-scale transformation programmes focused on S/4HANA.
• Strong expertise in SAP functional architecture and package-based enterprise solution delivery.
• Proven experience working in complex, global system landscapes with extensive integration across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, API design, and messaging systems.
• Experience with SAP BTP services (e.g., Integration Suite, Cloud ALM, Identity Services) and hybrid/cloud architectures.
• Ability to align architecture with business strategy, data, security, and compliance requirements.
• Professional fluency in German.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in international, cross-functional environments.
