Summary
Charles D. Sheehy supplies pipe, valves, and fittings to Mechanical Pros across New England. We’re looking for a dedicated Inside Sales Representative to join our team.
In this role, you will be the frontline connection for our customers, helping them find the right products, supporting their projects, and ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently. You’ll work closely with customers, our warehouse team, and internal partners to deliver exceptional service every day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from new and existing customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare accurate quotes and pricing proposals
- Enter, update, and manage customer orders with a high level of accuracy
- Create and send bids (pricing lists for requested materials) to clients
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to support timely deliveries and pickups
- Maintain strong product knowledge to assist customers effectively
- Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented environment and uphold company values
- Perform other duties as required; responsibilities may change at any time
Required Qualifications:
- Prior Industry and inside sales experience is a must
- Comfortable and confident speaking on the phone for extended periods
- Strong customer service mindset with a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach
- Experience with Eclipse, Mondays, and Canals software is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide thoughtful recommendations
- Strong active listening and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and time management
