Commvault is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will primarily join our ASEAN business territory. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and can showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. 

 

  • Secure qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives by effectively articulating Commvault’s value proposition and aligning to customer pain points. 

  • Drive meetings and opportunities through partner-led sales initiatives and marketing programs 

  • Develop deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in organisations to increase influence and alignment 

  • Ensure consistent communication and collaboration across Commvault’s field sales, marketing, services, and global alliance teams 

  • Measure and report on joint performance, identifying areas for optimisation and scale 

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrated drive, hunger and the ability to achieve targets in a quota-driven environment (through professional experience, internships, or academic achievements)  

  • Familiarity with Commvault products and a solid understanding of the SaaS landscape, with the ability to effectively communicate product features and benefits (Good to have)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SFDC, and customer engagement tools. 

  • Exceptional negotiation and customer engagement skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively. 

  • High level of professionalism, ethical conduct, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all business interactions. 

  • Experience in a SDR or sales related role is an advantage. 

 

Reporting to the APAC Sales Development Team Lead – Jim Lee.
