Restaurant Host/Hostess

The 34° North Restaurant located inside the Beaufort Hotel is currently seeking friendly and guest-focused Hosts/Hostesses to join our Food & Beverage team.

As the first and last point of contact for many guests, the Host/Hostess plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. We are looking for someone with a warm personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

• →Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• →Manage seating arrangements and wait lists efficiently
• →Escort guests to tables and provide menus
• →Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby areas
• →Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management regarding table availability and guest flow
• →Answer guest questions regarding menus, restaurant hours, and hotel amenities
• →Assist with guest requests and ensure a positive dining experience
• →Help maintain clean and properly set dining areas as needed
• →Handle phone calls, reservations, and guest inquiries professionally
• →Maintain a friendly and professional appearance at all times

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Dependable attendance and professionalism
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and move throughout an entire shift
