OtherTechnical Program Manager

Concord isn't your typical consulting firm; we're an execution company. We help organizations move technology and AI initiatives from concept to measurable capability, working alongside our clients from the initial definition of success through full implementation and adoption.

Our team brings expertise across artificial intelligence and data, digital experience, and platform engineering, enabling the organizations we serve to build lasting internal capability. We operate as a global team, with a presence across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and India, giving our clients access to specialized talent and continuous coverage across time zones.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join a client's Program Management Office on a contract basis. The client is a large, technology-driven organization delivering platforms at scale, and this engagement focuses on driving delivery of critical strategic programs in close partnership with engineering, operations, and sales stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a creative technical problem solver with strong technical program management experience, deep technical understanding, customer empathy, and strong execution capability. You will also bring hands-on fluency directing AI agents and agent-driven delivery practices, along with a track record of building strong business partnerships and delivering measurable results.

In this role, you will lead and direct assigned software programs, drive delivery of strategic initiatives, and model what AI-native program management looks like in practice.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead with Influence: Use a deep understanding of business outcomes, customer context, the external environment, and internal realities to shape strategy and drive execution at the program and process level. Prioritize within complex program scope to accelerate business outcomes, influence prioritization across partner teams, and drive principled, data-informed decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Deliver Results: Lead teams to define program outcomes, build end-to-end delivery plans, and establish governance models for complex programs. Establish and run a program operating rhythm to track performance and drive accountability. Identify risks and dependencies early, determine paths to green, and communicate progress, trends, and forecasted performance with a clear narrative.
  • Build and Scale Practices: Define and drive adoption of repeatable, scalable frameworks, best practices, tools, and templates. Experiment with new approaches, including AI-enabled practices, and help codify what works for broader use. Share expertise with other program managers and contribute to the client's program management capability.
  • Champion Change: Act as a credible change leader across teams. Help formulate change strategy for complex efforts, develop a clear change management plan, and drive execution end to end. Engage senior stakeholders to build alignment, back the case for change with data, and inspire confidence across teams.
  • AI-Native Technical Leadership: Bring technical expertise and systems thinking to complex programs, applying appropriate SDLC methodologies end to end. Serve as a technical thought partner to engineering leaders and quickly develop a working knowledge of the client's technology strategy and platform capabilities. Engage directly with AI agent tools in program orchestration, applying sound judgment about where AI accelerates delivery, where it introduces risk, and what quality governance is required.

What We Are Looking For
  • Experience: 7+ years building, leading, and delivering complex technical programs within a matrixed organization.
  • Technical and AI Acumen: Deep expertise in software development approaches, architecture, and lifecycle, including agent-driven product development and platform architectures. Hands-on experience directing and orchestrating AI agent tools in program work, with builder-level proficiency in autonomous agents or a demonstrated ability to reach it quickly.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to connect business outcomes, external context, and internal realities to shape strategy and drive program execution.
  • Communication and Change Leadership: Track record of influencing at all levels in a matrix organization, engaging senior stakeholders, and driving change end to end.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Ability to gather and analyze data, using AI and analytical tools, to assess progress, identify risks, and drive decisions.
  • Contract Readiness: Ability to ramp quickly in a new client environment, work independently with minimal onboarding, and deliver within a defined engagement scope.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP, Agile certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior consulting or contract experience leading programs for enterprise clients is a plus.
