Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks Food & Beverage Supervisor to assist in all phases of restaurant operations and will be responsible for complete restaurant operation in absence of manager. 

• →Supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service.
• →Assist manager to establish and monitor side work duty completion.
• →Maintain bank to Crescent standards.
• →Read daily communication sheets from previous shift and prepare one for the following shift. Check floor plan for appropriate coverage. 
• →Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up. Check service stands and aisle areas.  Check tables for cleanliness and proper set up.
• →Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• →Communicate daily with restaurant manager with regard to special events, house counts, etc.
• →Assist restaurant manager in conducting menu classes and taste panels.
• →Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.
• →Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

You can communicate well with guests and are willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. You understand & believe that every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day. 

• Our Food & Beverage Supervisor must have flexible availability and willing to work in both of our outlets
• Weekend availability required
• 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Excellent communications and leadership skills
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Excellent knowledge of all aspects of restaurant operations
• Comparable titles & experience: Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, Front of House Manager, Front of House Supervisor
