Salesperson - Computer and Mobile Technology

We’re looking for a highly motivated, knowledgeable and results-driven Salesperson to join our Technology & Entertainment team at Harvey Norman Lake Haven.

We want someone who genuinely enjoys sales, has a strong understanding of computers, laptops, mobile phones and technology, and gets excited by the opportunity to turn that knowledge into sales and earn additional commission on top of a guaranteed base wage.

You’ll be selling leading computer, laptop, mobile phone, technology and entertainment products, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.

This isn’t simply about knowing the products — it’s about understanding why a customer needs them, asking the right questions and confidently recommending the solution that best suits them.

You’ll be expected to manage your customers from the initial conversation through to the sale, while identifying opportunities to maximize both the customer’s experience and your sales results.

• Previous retail sales or technology sales experience is highly regarded
• Strong knowledge and genuine interest in computers and mobile phones
• The ability to confidently discuss specifications, features, benefits and product differences
• A genuine passion for technology and keeping up with new products
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confidence asking for the sale and closing deals
• A proven ability to work towards and achieve sales targets
• The ability to identify sales opportunities and maximize every customer interaction
• A strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond
• Flexibility to work across retail trading hours, including weekends, public holidays and late-night trades
