If hired by VCE you will start or restart a 12 month probationary period. This is for all New Hires, Transfers, returning State Employees.

Commercial Drivers ensure the safe and timely transport, delivery, and handling of products while supporting manufacturing and production goals. A CDL Class A license with P endorsement is required, along with knowledge of loading procedures, order accuracy, and compliance with DOT and safety regulations. This role also involves professional communication, customer service, and the ability to work independently under deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Considerable knowledge of loading/unloading, assembling, and setting up products.
• Work experience transporting and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
• Demonstrated skills in reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, and the products are correct.
• Experience with driver safety standards to safeguard persons, property, and financial assets, and ensuring commercial vehicles and equipment meets all highway safety and government regulatory DOT requirements.
• Ability to communicate professionally and have demonstrated customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office products.
