About Us

Honestly Farm Kitchen is a busy daytime brunch, lunch and early-evening café/restaurant with an adjoining farm shop, serving produce direct from our nearby organic farm.

  • Winter opening hours: 9:30am–6pm
  • Summer opening hours: 9:30am–7/8pm
  • Open 7 days a week

We’re located beside one of Ireland’s most scenic surfing beaches and are committed to great food, sustainability and excellent service.

The Role

You’ll support the General Manager in delivering smooth daily operations, great customer experiences, and a positive team culture across the restaurant, bar and farm shop. This is a hands-on leadership role, helping to supervise shifts, support training, maintain standards, and ensure every day runs well.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operations & Service

  • Support the GM in the day-to-day running of the café/restaurant, bar, takeaway and farm shop
  • Lead by example as a rostered, hands-on shift supervisor
  • Help ensure service runs smoothly during brunch, lunch and early evening periods

Team Support, Training & HR

  • Assist with onboarding and training new staff
  • Support rostering and staffing levels aligned to service demand
  • Help foster a fair, inclusive workplace and strong team communication

Standards & Compliance

  • Support food safety and HACCP standards on shift
  • Assist with stock management and goods-in checks
  • Contribute to excellent site presentation and customer experience

Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Support group bookings and event service when needed
  • Assist with promotions and social content creation as directed

Hours & Schedule

  • 35-40 hours per week
  • Typically 8–10 hour shifts
  • Includes weekdays, weekends and evenings in line with opening hours

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll need:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in hospitality
  • A hands-on, calm approach during service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with POS systems and basic IT
  • Good organisational skills and understanding of food safety/health & safety
  • Legal right to work in Ireland and a driving licence
