In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire for the season 2027 a Cook A.

The Cook A shall ensure the highest standard in food preparation is maintained while training and helping develop the Kitchen team.

• Reports to Sous Chef
• Overseeing a section of the Kitchen and ensure that it runs according to performance standards established by the Sous Chef/Executive Chef
• Organizing and set up the assigned section as efficiently as possible in order to increase speed and maximize productivity
• Ensuring that all items from that section are prepared consistently and according to standard product specifications
• Assisting the Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine in ensuring that all culinary standards in that section comply with Ella Resort’s Policies and Procedures and Minimum standards
• Monitoring food and operating costs and control these by reducing waste
• Assisting in maximizing employee morale and productivity
• Working in any section of the kitchen when necessary or as requested by the Sous Chef/Executive Chef
• To be familiar with all sections of the kitchen to facilitate the flexible use of employees

• Three or more years working experience in a similar role in 5-star hotels
• Degree / Diploma in Culinary
• Good knowledge of English language
• A second language (French, German, Russian, or Italian) will be considered as a plus

• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
• Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
• Negotiation and excellent Communication skills
• Pleasant personality, client oriented
