The Purchasing SpecialistIwill support the execution of procurement activities across assigned categories, ensuring timely and accurate purchasing operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining supplier relationships, initiating purchase orders, and supporting cross-functional teams to meet business and production needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities

Create, issue, and manage purchase orders (POs) in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantity, and delivery terms. - →Order Management:
Track order status, monitor supplier performance, and ensure on-time delivery. Proactively resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or discrepancies. - →Supplier Coordination:
Communicate with suppliers on quotations, lead times, and order fulfillment. Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships and ensure alignment with contractual terms. - →Sourcing Support:
Support RFQ/RFP processes by collecting and comparing supplier quotations. Assist in cost analysis and supplier selection based on quality, cost, and delivery. - →Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, finance, quality, and operations teams to support procurement needs and ensure alignment with project timelines. - →Data & Reporting:
Maintain accurate procurement records, track key metrics (cost, delivery, supplier performance), and support reporting and analysis. - →Process & Compliance:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and procedures. Support documentation, audits, and continuous process improvements.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or automotive environments.
- Technical Skills: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and strong proficiency in Excel.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail Orientation: High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Requirements

• Familiarity with BOM structures and direct/indirect sourcing
• Understanding of sourcing processes (RFQ, cost breakdown, supplier selection)
• Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus
