Responsibilities

Create and implement effective direct sales strategies; forecast, report, and keep sales cases updated in the CRM; drive issues to achieve Fastems’ sales objectives.

Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to customers’ needs. Report market needs to product lines and management.

Manage to meet/exceed monthly, trimester, and annual sales targets to increase profitable sales and build long-term relationships with customers.

Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

Meet regularly with existing customers, partners, and new prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs and position Fastems’ offering to meet surfaced needs.

Execute negotiations with customers and partners to close contracts.

Continuously expand customer understanding and use of Fastems’ offerings and capabilities.

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a demanding automation solution or system sales business.
Technical know-how: experience in sales in the manufacturing automation industry and processes and/or technology/metal industry and/or machine tool building and/or robotics industry.
Specific knowledge of ERP, scheduling, automation, tool management, and program management in a manufacturing environment.
A 4-year or master’s degree from an accredited university is preferred but not required.
Positive and business-oriented “can do” attitude. Willingness to set challenging targets and achieve them.
Has the ability to cooperate, drive negotiations, and close orders.
Successfully thrive under high pressure situations while maintaining flexibility, precision, and thoroughness.
