  • Translate market, portfolio and performance information into clear, relevant insights for corporate clients.
  • Coordinate onboarding and implementation with investments, client service, operations, legal, risk and compliance teams.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity and client information in the CRM and provide reliable sales forecasts.
  • Represent Ashburton at client engagements, industry forums, conferences and relevant networking events.
  • Stay informed about investment markets, competitor activity, client trends and the regulatory environment.
  • Ensure all sales activity and client engagements comply with internal governance and external regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute market insight and client feedback to product, distribution and business strategy.

  • Have completed a relevant undergraduate degree in commerce, finance, investments, economics or a related discipline.
  • A postgraduate qualification, CFA qualification or relevant professional accreditation will be advantageous.
  • Have at least five years’ business development, distribution or relationship-management experience in asset management or financial services.
  • Bring a demonstrated track record of originating new business, growing assets and retaining institutional or corporate clients.
  • Understand investment products, financial markets and the needs of corporate investors, including liquidity and cash-management considerations.
  • Experience working through banking, corporate or professional networks will be advantageous.

  • A strong platform, broad investment capability and access to the wider FirstRand ecosystem.
  • High-value relationships and opportunities to shape solutions for corporate clients.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where commercial impact is visible and recognised.
