• →Perform lube, oil and filter services 

• →Complete chassis, brake and tire inspections 

• →Adjust brakes and other vehicle components 

• →Mount, dismount and torque tires 

• →Service air dryers 

• →Perform basic electrical repairs 

• →Replace bulbs, flashers and other minor components 

• →Rebuild non-mechanical components such as mirrors and steps 

• →Assist mechanics with repairs and maintenance projects 

• →Maintain a safe and organized work area 

• →Follow all safety procedures and company policies 

• High school diploma or GED 

• Minimum one year of diesel mechanic experience 

• Experience working with electrical systems, air brakes, steering and suspension, drivetrain components, hydraulic systems, HVAC systems and after-treatment systems 

• Ability to supply personal hand tools up to ½” drive with end wrenches and sockets up to 1-1/4” 

• State of Michigan Heavy-Duty Truck Brakes & Braking Systems Certification required 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work 

• Self-motivated with a positive team-oriented attitude 

• Commitment to workplace safety 

• Ability to pass physical and pre-employment and random drug screens (including marijuana)
