HVAC Service Maintenance Technician - Apprentice (Commercial)

Our focus is on commercial roofing and air conditioning services within a 50-mile radius of Charlotte, NC, and the majority of our projects are negotiated with repeat customers who trust us for quality and reliability.

• →Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning coils, changing filters, and replacing fan motor belts.
• →Inspect and replace electrical and mechanical components such as worn contactors and weak capacitors.
• →Complete preventative maintenance forms and advise customers on next steps.
• →Produce onsite repair quotes using Service Titan Software.
• →Assist the service department with repairs that require two technicians due to weight, size, location, or complexity.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid NC or SC driver's license
• Dependable transportation
• EPA Universal Certification (or obtained within the first 90 days of employment)
• Basic hand tools and tool bag (a required tool list will be provided)
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible hours
• Ability to work at heights greater than 8ft
• Corrective lenses if necessary
• Leather work boots with proper ankle support and rubber soles (waterproof recommended)

• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
• Work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods
• Walk, stand, stoop, or sit for prolonged periods
• Climb stationary, extension, and collapsible ladders
