日立エナジージャパンのService事業では、日立エナジーの製品・設備をお客様のもとで安全かつ確実に稼働し続けるためのサービスを提供しています。Project Managerは、受注から現地作業完了までプロジェクト全体を統括し、技術・商務・スケジュールのバランスを取りながら、お客様と社内をつなぐ重要な役割を担っています。国内外のエンジニア、工場、サービスチームなど多様な関係者と連携しながら、社会インフラを支える大規模かつ複雑なプロジェクトを推進します。

本インターンシップでは、電力インフラを支えるサービスプロジェクトの運営を通じて、プロジェクトマネジメントの基礎から実践までを学んでいただきます。プロジェクトの進行管理や課題解決を支援しながら、多くの関係者を巻き込みながら成果を創出するProject Managerの役割を体験いただけます。

1. Position Summary

Hitachi Energy Japan's Service business provides services that ensure Hitachi Energy products and equipment operate safely, reliably, and efficiently at customer sites.

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from order intake through completion of on-site activities. This role balances technical, commercial, and scheduling requirements while serving as a key link between customers and internal stakeholders. Project Managers work closely with engineers, factories, and service teams both in Japan and globally to drive large-scale and complex projects that support critical social infrastructure.

Through this internship, you will gain practical experience in both the fundamentals and real-world application of project management by supporting service projects that sustain power infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to experience the role of a Project Manager by assisting with project execution, problem-solving, and stakeholder coor-dination to deliver successful outcomes.

2. Key Responsibilities

•                Support project progress monitoring and schedule management for service projects.

•                Assist in identifying, organizing, and analyzing project issues and risks.

•                Collect and organize project-related data and prepare reports and presentation materials.

•                Support communication and coordination with engineers, factories, and service teams in Japan and overseas.

•                Assist in coordinating activities with customers and internal stakeholders.

•                Learn project management methodologies through exposure to real project cases.

•                Develop an understanding of decision-making processes that balance technical, commercial, and scheduling considerations.

4. Required Skills and Qualifications

•                Basic PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

•                Passion for creating new values and taking on challenges proactively.

•                Strong analytical and written communication skills with the ability to organize ideas logically.

•                Self-motivation and willingness to take initiative in learning and problem-solving.

•                Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical engineering.

•                Interest in and willingness to communicate in English (reading, listening, writing, and speaking).
