Senior Project Engineer

Your responsibilities:

• You will be part of a team that is responsible for the system rating calculation and studies of HVDC transmission including interaction with surrounding AC-networks.
• Read, understand, and question customer’s technical specifications.
• Define main circuit parameters and Insulation level leading to High voltage Equipment requirement specification. 
• Perform system simulation & harmonic analysis to validate the HVDC rating and ac system requirements.
• Your responsibility will cover everything from support of our Sales department during the marketing phase, over tenders and order projects.

Your background :

• Bachelor or above degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in substation engineering, design institute or similar.
• Experience in substation engineering of High Voltage/Extra High Voltage substation project 
• Experience in 3D-Modeling and preforming 2D-drawings/layouts in Software tools like NX/TC tool or similar.  
• Experience with manufacturing and production processes and standardization and modularization of structures. 
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
• Good to have CAD – skillset (NX, 3D Modeling / Assembly, NX, Routing, NX 2D Drafting for layouts and section drawings, Team Center, AutoCAD, BIM360)
