Our client, an Islamabad-based independent public-sector entity operating within Pakistan's power sector, is mandated to ensure transparent, efficient, and reliable market and system operations. In line with its strategic and operational requirements, the organization seeks to appoint an experienced professional for the following role:
Responsibilities

- →Ensure effective protection of employees, visitors, assets and facilities.
- →Ensure appropriate security coverage and deployment on a 24/7 basis, where required.
- Conduct regular security risk and vulnerability assessments.
- Identify potential threats and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Monitor the security, law-and-order situation and advise management on emerging risks.
- Develop, implement and regularly review security SOPs, contingency plans and access-control protocols.
- Establish procedures for emergencies, evacuation, lockdown, incident reporting and crisis situations.
- Lead emergency response and security incident management.
- Conduct quarterly emergency/security drills and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Support business continuity and safe restoration of operations following incidents.
- Maintain effective coordination with relevant government departments, law-enforcement agencies, and civil administration.
- Coordinate security arrangements during emergencies, security alerts and official/VIP visits.
- Oversee CCTV, access control, visitor management, vehicle control, security screening, and perimeter protection.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen security through technology and automation.
- Lead and supervise in-house and outsourced security personnel.
- Manage deployment plans, duty rosters, discipline, attendance, performance and post responsibilities.
- Ensure security personnel remain properly trained and operationally ready.
- Develop proposals for outsourcing security services, where appropriate.
- Support selection, evaluation, and performance management of security service providers.
- Manage documentation and compliance relating to authorized security equipment and licensed weapons.
- Ensure timely renewal of licenses, permits, and other statutory requirements.
- Conduct periodic security inspections, audits, and vulnerability reviews.
- Maintain accurate security records, incident reports, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Lead incident reviews and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Coordinate security arrangements for management, government officials, VIPs and high-profile visitors.
- Conduct advance security assessments and ensure appropriate security protocols.
- Provide security advisory and support for official travel to sensitive or high-risk locations, where required.
- Prepare and monitor the security budget.
- Ensure effective utilization of resources and identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising security standards.
- Ensure effective firefighting and emergency response arrangements across facilities.
- Coordinate regular inspection and readiness of fire-fighting equipment and emergency systems.
- Conduct fire drills and emergency preparedness exercises and ensure identified gaps are addressed.
- Develop and conduct regular training, briefings and awareness sessions for security personnel and relevant employees.
- Ensure security staff are trained in emergency response, fire fighting, evacuation, access control, incident management, and security protocols.
- Assess training needs and continuously improve the capability and preparedness of the security team.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum Four (04) years Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business/ Public Administration, Security Management, Social Sciences, or related field from a reputed HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum 8 years of overall relevant experience preferably in security, administration, intelligence, operations, leading security teams, managing sensitive facilities, developing security SOPs, conducting risk assessments, emergency drills, and incident management, and coordination with government, law-enforcement, and civil administration authorities.
- Training/certification in Security/ Crisis Management, Fire & Safety, Disaster Management, or Business Continuity will be an advantage.
- Maximum age limit: 40 years
