Responsibilities

Payroll Management:

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all staff categories
  • Maintain payroll records including salaries, deductions, bonuses, and final settlements
  • Calculate EOBI, SESSI, income tax, and other statutory deductions per Pakistan labour law
  • Prepare salary sheets, payroll reports, and variance analyses using MS Excel
  • Coordinate with Finance for timely salary disbursement and bank transfer files
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, payslips, and deductions
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll data

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment including job posting, CV screening, interviews, and offer letters
  • Source candidates via Rozee.pk, LinkedIn, Indeed, and professional networks
  • Coordinate with department heads on manpower requirements and job descriptions
  • Conduct initial HR interviews and evaluate candidates against role requirements
  • Maintain applicant tracking and recruitment dashboards in MS Excel
  • Ensure smooth onboarding including documentation, orientation, and system enrollment
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for recurring and critical roles

General HR Support:

  • Maintain up-to-date employee records in HRIS and physical files
  • Prepare HR reports, headcount analysis, and monthly HR dashboards
  • Support HR audits and ensure documentation compliance
  • Assist in policy communication and employee engagement activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, Finance, or related field (Master's is a plus)
  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing and/or recruitment in Pakistan
  • Knowledge of Pakistani labour laws, EOBI, SESSI, and income tax regulations
  • Experience with HR/payroll software (SAP HR, Oracle HCM, or similar) is an advantage

Technical:

  • MS Excel — Advanced Level (MANDATORY)
  • Payroll software / HRIS systems
  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Job portals: Rozee.pk, LinkedIn
  • Statutory compliance: EOBI, SESSI, Income Tax

Soft Skills:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
