Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Supervisor-Security & Emergency Management to join our team. The Supervisor – Security & Emergency Management is responsible for overseeing daily security operations while providing market-level leadership for emergency preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery efforts. This role ensures a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff while advancing a comprehensive and compliant Emergency Management Program. The Supervisor leads staff, coordinates with internal and external partners, and supports organizational readiness across complex clinical and operational settings.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Safety, Emergency Management, Public Safety, Fire Science, or a related field is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent plus three years of experience in security, public safety, or law enforcement may be considered in lieu of an associate's degree.
  • Three years of experience in healthcare security, law enforcement, or safety is required.
  • One year of demonstrated leadership experience is required.
  • Five years of experience in healthcare security and/or safety is preferred.
  • Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification is required within one year of hire.
