As the world's leading large-scale 3D printing construction company, ICON is changing the construction industry as we know it. ICON delivers projects across residential, commercial, and institutional projects faster, more precisely, and at a lower cost. Operating as a fully integrated Design-Build organization, ICON manages all aspects of project delivery from concept design through project turnover.

ICON is seeking a Construction Procurement Manager to join its Construction Operations team in Austin, TX. This role sits at the center of ICON's post-award project execution engine: translating approved RFP buyout decisions into executed subcontracts, purchase orders, and compliant vendor agreements that keep projects on schedule and on budget. The ideal candidate brings hands-on construction procurement experience, a detail-oriented approach to contract administration, and the organizational discipline to manage multiple active projects simultaneously across ICON's growing national portfolio.

Success in this role requires a working knowledge of subcontract structures, insurance and lien requirements, invoice processing workflows, and trade partner management — all applied within a fast-paced, technology-driven construction environment unlike any other in the industry.

  • Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate processing of subcontractor and supplier invoices; verify alignment with executed agreements, approved schedules of values, and project cost codes.
  • Support financial controls by maintaining up-to-date committed cost records, forecasting procurement exposure, and reporting budget variances to project management and accounting.
  • Draft and issue subcontract change orders in accordance with ICON's change management process; maintain change log documentation for all affected agreements.
  • Coordinate procurement of long-lead materials and specialty components, managing lead times and delivery schedules in alignment with the project construction timeline.
  • Monitor market conditions, regional vendor availability, and pricing trends to support active project buyouts and inform estimating on future opportunities.
  • Identify, prequalify, and build working relationships with trade partners capable of supporting ICON's high-velocity, design-build construction model with a focus on quality, reliability, and capacity.
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement workflows, contract templates, compliance checklists, and approval processes across the BuildOps organization.
