Senior Backend Engineer

• Work with our product team to architect and develop new features
• Optimize existing features using modern development techniques to improve speed and reliability
• Write comprehensive test suites that fortify our codebase
• Deploy to production often

• 4+ years of experience building back ends applications using a modern web framework (we use Python + Django, Node.js)
• Experience analyzing code performance to identify optimization opportunities
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL DBs (we use MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, Redshift) 
• Fluent spoken and written use of English language

• Experience with Apache Airflow or other task workflow systems 
• Experience with data pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code and familiarity with AWS 
• Frontend experience (we use React)
