We are looking for a reliable and professional Wrecker Driver to join our team at the Jamaica Automobile Association (JAA). The successful candidate will safely tow and transport vehicles, respond quickly to service calls, and provide good customer service to drivers in need of assistance. Main Duties Safely operate a wrecker to tow and recover vehicles from breakdowns and accidents Respond quickly to dispatch calls and arrive within required response times Keep in contact with dispatch and provide updates on each job Ensure vehicles are properly loaded, secured, transported, and unloaded safely Treat customers in a respectful and professional manner at all times Complete job records accurately, including mileage, time, and service details Report accidents, damages, delays, or other issues immediately Carry out daily checks on the wrecker, including fuel, tyres, tools, and equipment Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition Follow all company safety rules and operating procedures Requirements Valid Heavy Duty or General Driver’s Licence At least 2–3 years’ experience driving a wrecker or similar heavy-duty vehicle Good knowledge of roads in Kingston & St. Andrew Able to work nights, weekends, and public holidays when required Good communication and customer service skills Honest, dependable, and able to work under pressure What We Expect Fast response to service calls Safe handling of customer vehicles with no preventable damage Accurate and timely job reporting Professional behaviour and good customer feedback Clear communication with dispatch throughout each assignment If you are dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
