Join a dynamic healthcare organization dedicated to improving the delivery of high-quality outpatient surgical care across a nationwide network. As Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives, you will lead cross-functional projects that strengthen health plan relationships, optimize revenue cycle performance, and improve reimbursement outcomes. You will collaborate with teams across operations, finance, legal, revenue cycle, and payer relations to turn strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable results. The role offers the opportunity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and support critical business decisions through data-driven insights. You will develop project roadmaps, monitor progress, identify risks, and communicate key updates to stakeholders at all levels. This fully remote position is ideal for an organized, proactive project management professional with healthcare revenue cycle expertise and a passion for operational excellence.

  • Lead and coordinate multiple cross-functional projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives, payer strategies, and reimbursement priorities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including milestones, timelines, task sequencing, resource allocation, dependencies, and success criteria.
  • Monitor project progress, deliverables, resource utilization, and deadlines, proactively adjusting plans as business needs and payer requirements evolve.
  • Serve as the primary coordination point for stakeholders across ASC operations, revenue cycle, payer relations, legal, finance, and external partners.
  • Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, presentations, and written communications that highlight progress, risks, key decisions, and next steps.
  • Use Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting tools to analyze project performance indicators and provide actionable insights for leadership.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder reviews, including preparing agendas, documenting decisions, recording meeting notes, and tracking action items.
  • Create clear, audience-specific communication and educational materials to support stakeholder alignment, change management, training, and adoption.
  • Identify, assess, document, and mitigate project risks, issues, and change requests, escalating barriers that could affect payer relationships, revenue cycle operations, or reimbursement performance.
  • Collaborate with project leads and subject matter experts to evaluate implementation options, assess cost-effectiveness, and support business case development where appropriate.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and external partners to monitor deliverables, budgets, timelines, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation in accordance with internal standards, payer requirements, and applicable compliance expectations.
  • Support knowledge transfer and operational adoption while maintaining a working understanding of ambulatory surgery center revenue cycle processes, payer contract terms, credentialing, billing, and reimbursement workflows.
