Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of recruiters, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Own JRC’s enterprise‑wide talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and workforce planning needs
  • Oversee full‑cycle recruiting operations, ensuring an exceptional candidate and hiring‑manager experience
  • Partner closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to forecast talent needs and build proactive pipelines
  • Drive sourcing strategies for cleared and uncleared talent through ATS optimization, networking, referrals, and innovative outreach
  • Ensure consistent, high‑quality screening and selection processes that evaluate qualifications, alignment, and cultural fit
  • Represent JRC at recruiting events, career fairs, and industry engagements, serving as a brand ambassador
  • Build and maintain partnerships with universities, military transition programs, and industry organizations
  • Ensure all recruiting practices comply with OFCCP guidelines, employment laws, and internal policies
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics to inform decision‑making and improve performance

🧠What You Bring to the Table

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, including leadership of a recruiting team
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), ideally Greenhouse, including managing requisitions, workflows, and candidate records.
  • A strategic mindset paired with hands‑on execution skills
  • Strong communication abilities and a relationship‑driven approach that builds trust across all levels
  • Proven success managing competing priorities and delivering results in a fast‑paced environment
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to supporting JRC’s mission and culture
  • Ability for CONUS travel up to 10%

Bonus Points

  • Experience supporting multiple project sites or geographically dispersed teams
  • Background partnering with educational institutions or military transition programs
  • Familiarity with recruiting in defense, government contracting, or similarly regulated environments
