This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Program Manager - Initiative Owner within the Data Services environment. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise to dynamic and challenging assignments.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Lead and collaborate with colleagues in the Data Services tribe to develop a new data tooling strategy leveraging Data Mesh, Data Products, Data Virtualization, and Self-Service principles.
- →Work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology leaders to design and implement a modern data management architecture that enables data-driven decision-making, improves data quality, and increases agility.
- →Develop a comprehensive data management strategy aligned with business objectives and leveraging Data Mesh, Data Products, and Self-Service principles.
- →Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify requirements and define data products that meet their needs.
- →Design a data architecture enabling data mesh, data products, and self-service capabilities, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics.
- →Evaluate and recommend technologies such as cloud-based data platforms, data catalogs, data governance tools, and data virtualization solutions.
- →Develop a roadmap for implementing the data management strategy, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- →Work with data teams to design and implement data products, including data pipelines, data APIs, and data visualization tools.
- →Develop a self-service data platform for business users to access, analyze, and visualize data.
- →Establish data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- →Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data management solutions with existing infrastructure and applications.
- →Develop a training and adoption plan for the successful rollout of the new data management strategy to business users.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT, engineering, or equivalent by professional experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in data management, data architecture, or data engineering, with a focus on data mesh, data products, and self-service.
- Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data security.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of data technologies, including data catalogs, data governance tools, data virtualization solutions, and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration and project management skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear and concise documentation and presentations.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is preferable.
- Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts, including data modeling and data mining is preferable.
- Experience working in a complex organization is mandatory.
- Practical experience with Scrum and agile methodologies is preferable.
- Sound knowledge of English is required; Dutch and French are preferable but not mandatory.
