THE ROLE

Khan Academy is looking for a passionate Sales Enablement Manager to join our District Partnership team to help change education. Our team is focused on driving impact for as many students as possible by expanding our Khan Academy Districts partnerships to support schools and school districts across the country. We work closely with our partners to drive engagement of Khan Academy’s products and services with administrators, teachers, and students in order to significantly improve student outcomes and success.

The Khan Academy Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for equipping our Districts sales team with the content, training, tools, and processes they need to effectively engage K–12 school, district, and state-level partners. Working at the intersection of sales, marketing, product, and professional learning, this role drives alignment and accelerates our ability to win new customers and grow existing accounts.

We are looking for someone with a collaborative spirit, a bias toward action, and a passion for working where your contributions create real impact. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and thrives in fast-paced environments. Exceptional communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling assets are essential. Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.

The Sales Enablement Manager is a subject matter expert for Khan Academy, our Khan Academy Districts partnerships, and Khanmigo, our AI-based student tutor and teaching assistant. Apply if you are a fast learner who can quickly internalize our products and translate them into tools and training that empower our sales team to succeed. This role will report directly to the Director of School Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a library of high-quality sales assets including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, battle cards, videos, media clips, and objection-handling guides
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to ensure all enablement materials accurately reflect current offerings, messaging, and positioning
  • Tailor content to specific audience segments, including district administrators, curriculum directors, and state-level decision-makers
  • Conduct regular audits of the content library to ensure materials are current, compliant, and aligned with brand standards
  • Respond to sales team requests for customized sales collateral, including state-level initiatives, conferences, pitch meetings, and high level training sessions for teachers and admins 
  • Design and deliver onboarding programs that enable new sales team members to ramp quickly and confidently represent Khan Academy’s Districts offerings
  • Develop ongoing training curricula covering product updates, sales methodologies, competitive landscape, and objection handling
  • Partner with the Professional Learning team to incorporate educator-facing insights into sales training, helping reps better understand customer needs
  • Facilitate internal  training sessions, workshops, and role-play exercises to reinforce skills and drive adoption of best practices
  • Act as a connective tissue between sales, marketing, product, district success, and professional learning to ensure consistent messaging, strong hand off between marketing and sales and sales and district success 
  • Gather feedback from the sales team to surface content gaps, training needs, and market insights to relevant stakeholders
  • Support product launches by developing launch kits, training materials, and internal communications that prepare reps to sell new features and offerings
  • Conduct and document enablement retrospectives and implement actions to improve program efficiency and impact
  • 4+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, instructional design, or a related field; experience in K–12 education or EdTech is a plus
  • Understanding of the K-12 Education market and EdTech providers  
  • Ability to understand the different needs of all stakeholders in the school district ecosystem, from classroom teachers through Superintendents and other district leads, and adjust materials/collateral accordingly
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively in order to provide realistic solutions for partners
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear, compelling written and visual content for a sales audience
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams under tight deadlines
  • High proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Salesforce
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills; strong command of grammar and professional writing conventions
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset; comfortable learning new products, tools, and industries quickly
  • A passion for Khan Academy’s vision and a desire to change the world
  • Strong written, communication, and presentation skills, Professional Learning experience a plus
