Responsibilities

→Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
→Conducting circuit simulations using software tools to analyze and optimize circuit performance, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
→Designing wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for electrical systems, considering factors such as signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC/EMI compliance.
→Developing system architectures and integrating electrical components into larger systems, considering overall functionality, performance, and safety requirements.
→Leading electrical engineering projects from concept to completion. Support the project management office in developing work breakdown structures.
→Working closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, and product designers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other components.
→Direct activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
→Developing test plans and procedures, conducting testing, and performing validation to ensure the reliability and performance of electrical systems.
→Establish design criteria for projects using required codes and standards.
→Participate in the design review process.
→Review and approval of engineering deliverables.
→Work with the Production department to provide technical assistance during the manufacturing process.
→Work with customers to understand project requirements and provide operational support while in the field.
→Mentor Electrical Engineers and Technologists.

Requirements

Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent engineering discipline with 4+ years experience.
Excellent design standards and strong troubleshooting skills.
Effectively focus on high level project objectives while executing detailed design tasks.
Incredible attention to detail.
Demonstrated technical skills along with a proven track record for success.
Experience in the design specification, installation and connection methods of electrical equipment.
Design and review PCB Fab drawings, PCB Assembly drawings and provide input into new product designs.
Strong written and oral communications skills (technical reporting).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work independently, as well as effectively within a team environment.
High degree of organization, with the ability to prioritize task.
