A Kitchen Dishwasher will be responsible for properly operating the dishwasher machine and/or hand washing dishes, silverware, glasses, pots, pans, etc. Additionally, dishwashers are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within the kitchen by organizing the dishes, sweeping, disposing of trash, and working well with other crew members.
- Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area during shift
- Follow House of Blues safety, health, and sanitation standards
- Assist other employees as needed
- Follow opening and closing procedures, checking out with manager on duty
- Adhere to all HOB policies and procedures
- Required to occasionally work special events scheduled within the venue
- Wash dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc.
- Clean and maintain all trash bins, depositing garbage into dumpsters as needed
- Keep floor clean, free of spills, food, trash, and other obstacles
- Clean walk-in cooler, daily
- Ensure proper rotation of all dishes, pots, pans, storage bins, etc. (including the lifting of these up to 80 lbs.)
- Comply with applicable Health Codes by ensuring that all eating/cooking utensils are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly

Nice to Have

- Experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment
- State issued Food Handler Certification
- Willing to commute to downtown area (discounted $8 parking available daily)
- Working environment is fast paced, can be hot, and/or loud
- Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and/or working on your feet
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 80 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
