Meaty Meats is a specialty retailer focusing on Fresh Organic Meats and Charcuterie, as well as in-house Prepared Foods. We operate two locations in the GTA, with a focus on customer experience.

As the owner of the company's retail meat operations, reporting to the Retail Operations Manager or similar our e-commerce web store.  This is a permanent full-time employment with day shift and overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use
• Remove bones from meat
• Record information on products inspected
• Clean and maintain the workspace
• Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat

Education:

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
• Specialization:  Meat cutting/Meat cutter
• Required work experience:  2 years to less than 3 years

Equipment and machinery experience

• knives
• power cutting tools
• saws

Product inspection experience

• Meat and meat products

Transportation/travel information

• own transportation
• Public transportation is available

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• 40 hours per week, full-time permanent employment, Day shift, overtime available
• $24 per hour
