Debt Collection Manager – Device Financing

Mogo Tanzania, part of Eleving Group, is launching a high-growth smartphone financing business that will expand access to technology and financial inclusion across Tanzania. As we scale the business rapidly, maintaining strong repayment discipline is critical. We are looking for a Debt Collection Manager who will build and lead the collections function from the ground up — designing strategies, managing teams, and ensuring strong portfolio performance.

• Identify emerging risk trends and implement corrective actions.

• Oversee device recovery and repossession processes.

• Ensure professional and compliant customer interaction.

• Work closely with Customer Care to improve repayment communication.

• Partner with Risk and Operations to improve repayment behavior.

• Provide strategic insights to leadership on portfolio performance.
