• →Applies comprehensive knowledge of food preparation, handling, safety, and sanitation
• →Prepares hot entrees, soups, vegetables, and accompaniments for various dining areas
• →Follows recipes and preparation sheets to ensure quality and presentation
• →Completes advance prep, food temperature checks, and tasting for each meal
• →Maintains accurate preparation records and stores food properly
• →Cleans work area and equipment after use
• →Follows proper lifting, bending, and safety procedures
• →Assists with fire safety and emergency evacuation as needed
• →Cooperates with other departments and maintains a clean, safe environment
• →Performs other duties as assigned

• Experience in cooking, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality setting
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Attention to detail and a passion for preparing great food
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
• Creativity, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Must be able to speak and read in English
