Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Dining Cook, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional meals while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities include:
- →Preparing hot entrées, soups, vegetables, and side dishes for multiple dining venues
- →Following recipes and production sheets to ensure consistency and excellence
- →Applying best practices in food preparation, handling, sanitation, and safety
- →Conducting food quality checks, temperature monitoring, and taste testing for every meal
- →Completing advance food preparation and maintaining accurate production records
- →Properly storing ingredients and prepared foods according to safety guidelines
- →Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- →Following safe work practices, including lifting, bending, and equipment operation procedures
- →Supporting emergency preparedness and safety initiatives as needed
- →Collaborating with team members and other departments to create a positive dining experience
- →Assisting with additional duties that support departmental success

- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures

Previous cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related setting
