As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you help bring those moments to life by supporting the people, standards, and daily operations behind one of the resort's restaurants, lounges, or dining experiences. Working alongside culinary and restaurant leadership, you will help develop associates, elevate service, strengthen operational performance, and create an environment where guests feel welcomed, valued, and eager to return. This role offers an opportunity to build leadership expertise while contributing to the dining experiences that help define Nemacolin.
Compensation: Base salary of $75,000 plus participation in incentive plan.
Responsibilities

- →A confident and engaged team by coaching associates, reinforcing service expectations, supporting training initiatives, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
- →Strong partnerships between front-of-house and culinary teams by promoting communication, teamwork, and operational alignment that supports exceptional food and beverage experiences
- →Consistent operational excellence by overseeing daily restaurant activities, supporting guest room dining operations when applicable, maintaining service standards, and ensuring readiness throughout each shift
- →Sustainable financial performance by supporting budgeting efforts, reviewing operational results, managing labor resources, monitoring payroll processes, and identifying opportunities to strengthen efficiency and profitability
- →Guest confidence and loyalty through timely follow-up on concerns, personalized interactions, thoughtful service recovery, and a commitment to exceeding expectations
- →A compliant and well-prepared operation by supporting training requirements, food and beverage certifications, safety practices, and operational procedures across the department
- →Clear communication and organized execution through effective scheduling, associate engagement, operational planning, reporting, and collaboration with restaurant and resort leadership
- A visible leadership role within one of Nemacolin's restaurants, lounges, dining venues, or food and beverage experiences
- A balance of floor leadership, associate development, guest engagement, operational administration, and financial oversight responsibilities
- Daily interaction with guests, members, associates, culinary leadership, restaurant leadership, vendors, and resort partners where professionalism and hospitality are essential
- An environment where priorities can shift quickly based on guest needs, business volume, special events, and operational demands

Requirements
~1 min read- Associate's degree in hospitality management or a related field required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a restaurant, food and beverage outlet, or hospitality environment
- Experience in a Forbes Four-Star, Forbes Five-Star, or similarly service-focused dining environment preferred
- Demonstrated success in guest service, associate development, and team leadership
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and the relationship between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and interpret operational and financial information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and periods of increased business demand
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 30 pounds
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable food and beverage certifications as required by the operation
