Role: Junior Account Manager
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
About the Role
~1 min readAs a Junior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal part in running and helping grow one of our client teams. In this role, you will ensure smooth delivery of projects through our team, representing the clients voice within our team and advocating for our team with our clients. This teamwork is primarily but not exclusively digital content. Come be a part of a great company that is breaking the traditional client/agency model. Our teams have agile ways of working that allow everyone on the team to interact with clients and understand their business and needs. This client allows for in-office, hybrid or fully remote work, and we do not anticipate changes to that expectation, but for an account role, there is a slight preference toward someone who’s able to occasionally be in office and on site with team and clients.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Support the delivery of all asset creation across; Retail and in-store advertising, Digital, Social, OOH, DOOH and Press under the guidance of the Account Management team
- →Support project delivery, escalating issues to the Account Management team and under the guidance of senior Account team members
- →Be pro-active in identifying issues and flagging risks to the Senior AM before they become a problem.
- →Support in planning and scheduling projects efficiently, therefore ensuring the optimum use of company resources
- →Strive to follow and implement the best practice production process within OLIVER and with clients
- →Ideally a strong background in advertising campaign production.
- →Delivering project ownership, with support from the Account Team, including:
- →Support interrogating, adapting client briefs for studio ream and flag clarifications to the Senior Account Manager
- →Assist Resource Manager with booking and scheduling
- →Briefing work to the creative team to execute
- →Provide QC support for assets and work prior to client review
- →Support review and help implement client amends liaising with creatives and Senior AM where necessary
- →Developing and managing project timelines
- →Final delivery of assets to client and media partners
- →Work collaboratively within the team to deliver high quality work
- →Daily and weekly status reports shared both internally with team and Accounts team
Requirements
~2 min read- 2-3 years’ experience working in an agency/high volume adaptation environment
- Fluent Arabic (spoken and written) and strong English communication skills required
- Experience working in an advertising agency; sports and lifestyle category is a plus
- Eagerness to learn, receive feedback and grow into a fully accountable Account Manager
- Experience delivering creative adaptation production for retail and paid media campaigns
- Cross channel experience; Retail and in-store advertising, Digital, Social, OOH, DOOH, Ecom, Paid Media
- Experience with multiple projects across multiple languages at once
- A basic understanding of channel best practices (retail, social, digital)
- A mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment, with high volumes of activity
- Strong organisation, attention to detail; ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly immerse in brands, problem-solve and be fully into role within 90 days with support from Senior Account Team
- Smooth team operations with execution of projects on time and with excellence (with support from Senior Account team)
- Confident in contributing to daily and project stand-ups
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects and what they’re used for
- Good understanding of how long things take and ability to estimate time required for creatives
- Good communication and willingness to learn; comfortable working across time zones with remote teammates
- Experience managing projects from briefing to delivery
