Restaurant Manager - Italian Speaking

Our client, a well-established Italian restaurant in St. Julian’s, is looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager – Italian Speaking to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have strong restaurant management experience, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a genuine passion for Italian hospitality and cuisine. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant while ensuring high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and team performance.

• →Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• →Lead, motivate, and manage the front-of-house team.
• →Ensure high standards of customer service and hospitality are consistently maintained.
• →Welcome and interact with guests, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.
• →Manage reservations, table allocation, and service flow.
• →Coordinate closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure efficient operations.
• →Train and support staff to maintain service standards and restaurant procedures.
• →Monitor staff performance, attendance, and daily responsibilities.
• →Handle guest feedback and resolve any service-related issues professionally.
• →Assist with stock control, ordering, and monitoring of restaurant supplies.
• →Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
• →Support the management team with scheduling, cost control, and other operational matters.

• Previous experience in a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar supervisory role.
• Fluent Italian and good English are essential.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
• Professional, organised, and hands-on approach.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
• Passion for Italian cuisine, hospitality, and delivering an excellent guest experience.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
