Construction Site Manager

A Construction Site Manager oversees daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget by coordinating workers, materials, and subcontractors, managing budgets, enforcing quality/safety standards, solving problems, and reporting progress to stakeholders like clients and senior management, acting as the crucial link between planning and execution. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Managing daily activities, progress monitoring, and ensuring alignment with project plans, drawings, and specifications. Health & Safety: Conducting safety inspections, implementing protocols, managing risks, and addressing hazards to ensure a safe working environment. Resource Management: Ordering and managing materials, machinery, and coordinating subcontractor schedules. Budget & Cost Control: Monitoring build costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring economical resource use. Quality Control: Performing checks and maintaining standards to meet client requirements. Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with clients, architects, surveyors, and upper management, providing progress reports, and addressing issues. Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues, delays, or conflicts that arise on-site. Documentation: Preparing site reports, maintaining records, and handling paperwork.
