POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Cook

EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

POSITION REPORTS TO: General Manager

DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage

• →Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and brand standards
• →Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper portioning at all times
• →Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• →Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations and procedures
• →Properly store, label, and rotate food items
• →Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• →Assist with inventory, restocking, and prep planning
• →Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
• →Adapt to high-volume service while maintaining attention to detail
• →Support overall kitchen operations and assist where needed

• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a fast-paced or high-volume environment preferred
• Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) required by state
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in high-heat environments and standing for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties

AVAILABILITY:
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
