Job Title:- Area Sales Manager – EDC & POS Sales

Location:- Patna, Bihar

Experience:- 5–7 years in EDC, POS, UPI, Payment Gateway, or Fintech Sales

Key Responsibilities:-
● Merchant Acquisition Targets:-Drive new merchant onboarding for EDC machines, POS terminals, QR codes, Soundbox, and payment solutions in assigned territory and achieve desired productivity.
● Revenue & Activation Targets:- Achieve monthly & quarterly targets for Edc machine deployments , Activation, transaction volume & revenue.
● Team Handling:- Lead, train & motivate a team of 5–10 Team Leaders & 80-100 Sales Executives/Field Officers. Set KRAs, monitor daily productivity, and conduct field visits
● Relationship Management
● Should be able to Build strong relationships with key merchants & CDIT merchants.
● Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends for EDC/POS industry

Required Skills & Experience:-
● 5+ years proven experience in EDC/POS/UPI Soundbox sales
● Strong experience in merchant acquisition – retail, restaurants, Grocery, Pharmacy, Apparel, CDIT merchants etc.
● Team handling experience of at least 8-10 Team Leaders.
● Good understanding of payment ecosystem: Banks, Fintechs, NPCI, RBI guidelines
● Excellent communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills
● Must be comfortable with 80% field work & extensive travel in territory
● Local language proficiency + working knowledge of MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications:-
● MBA/Graduate in Sales & Marketing
● Prior experience with companies like Pine Labs, Mswipe, Ex Paytm, PhonePe, BharatPe, AXIS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank EDC verticals
